KDE for OS X, Windows

I heard on a linux podcast that KDE would eventually be made to work on non-linux OSs including Mac OS X and Windows. Is this true? If so, where can I read more about this development?

RE: KDE for OS X, Windows

KDE 4.0 is scheduled for the first half of 2007 and will run on these platforms. I think http://www.planetkde.org is a nice source for reading about KDE 4 development.
