Konsole and pointer shape

The default i-beam pointer shape in Konsole can be difficult to "track".

Is there any possibility that a future release of Konsole can include a config
choice similar to this for xterm:
XTerm*pointerShape:right_ptr ?

I would like to specify the size for that right_ptr shape, or "some shape", also.

Sorry if the answer lies elsewhere, I've searched the doc's and forums.
I'd prefer to stay with Konsole on workstations
(and our servers running a customized (pared-down) KDE).
