Profile messing up display

I have a problem that I think I have narrowed down to my user profile in KDE.

I have a dual monitor setup using Twinview and everything was working fine until I tried to use the display manager to update a setting. Now when I reboot the computer the login screen appears with the 2nd monitor active and everything looks fine. As soon as I login the 2nd monitor is deactivated and I can only use the 1st monitor. The display manager also appears to have a problem because I get an error message stating a module can't be loaded when I try to open it.

The interesting thing is I created a new user and then I logged in with it, both monitors work and the display manager works. It's only for that one user that I have problems. This leads me to believe that the isse is somewhere in my /home/"User"/.kde profile. I just don't know where or what configuration file to look at?
