KAddressbook and LDAP issues

Hi!

I set up an LDAP-Server, because I would like to store my addressbook in there. After doing so, I went into KAddressbook and when I login anonymous into the LDAP I see the one contact I created with an ldif. When I'd like to store other contacts there I get the error that a stronger authentication is needed. OK so far. Exactly what I want...

Now I go to the preferences of the LDAP-Addressbook Resource and enter my admin user and pw I created during the installation of the ldap-server (apt-get install slapd). Now /no/ error message and /no/ contact appears anymore????

I make a right click, new contact, enter a name and an email address, ok, everything fine. New contact appears. Close Kontact and KAddressbook, restart, no new contact there anymore...

Is anybody out there who can help me with checking if it is a problem server-side or kontact-side with the settings?

Greetings,

prego
