Hibernate / Standby / Suspend

Hello all,
in the KLaptop configuration module, [ACPI Config], I've enabled the hibernate, suspend and standby options. How do I activate them ?
If I right-click the KLaptop applet, I see only suspend, and if I activate it the computer goes to sleep, but the keyboard doesn't work anymore when it wakes up.

So first question: how do I take care of this keyboard problem ? It's a Gateway solo 5300, keyboard reference is 7002380.

And the second question: how do I trigger hibernate and standby ?
