Removable Storage Names

I have a number of usbdisks that KDE is (correctly) mounting for me automatically when I install the usbdisk. However, while the file mediamanagerrc has a [UserLabels] section, nowhere is there a graphical way to ASSIGN a label to it! I have had to manually edit the mediamanagerrc file to give each usbkey its own Name.

i.e.

[UserLabels]
/org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/volume_uuid_3379_4ADA=KEYS
/org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/volume_uuid_438F_9EFB=KNOPPIX-Bootable
/org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/volume_uuid_a19a66d8_1a36_4685_a4f6_0c647de5c67d=HOME_BACKUP

Is this a forgotten function or have I just missed the method?
