K3b: mkisofs option -no-cache-inodes

Good Day All . . .

I have a problem with K3B burning only one copy of a named file per disc (creating hard links to this one file). I want to copy one set of TAR backup files to each of three directories to fill a DVD (in case of a read/write file error). One set of files only takes up 1/3 of the disc. No matter how many copies of a file are transferred - only one is burnt. This apparently saves space.

The solution is an option -no-cache-inodes or disabling cache-inodes made to the

"... advanced file system settings in the data project."

of K3b.

I have gone through all the options in K3b data project > (FileSystem) (Advanced) and I cannot see anything remotely close to disabling cache-inodes or adding the -no-cache-inodes option.

I have about 23 coasters from other faults in this program. Because of this problem I have two more.

Is there a techie about who can, at the least, point me into the right direction.

Thanks.
