knoppix 3.3 save system conf loading.

ok i have knoppix 3.3; yes im old. i got all my connections done; dsl and all.
i ran the needed tools and was online. i changed some of my settings.
i got some pictures and save my configs.
now im on the iso and was wonder how i get my backgrounds back and my configs back.
i save the configs to floppy just like it read to.

how do i load the system configs??
