[Kopete] MSN connection got 'operation is not supported'

distro: Gentoo
KDE version: 3.5.2
Kopete version: 0.12.3 (using kde-base/kopete-2.5.5-r2 package)

Up to yesterday I was still using kopete 0.11.1 and I came to find when I tried to get my MSN connected Kopete gave me the message "Operation is not supported" repeatedly.
Therfore I upgrade my Kopete to 0.12.3 and still no go...
Anyone encountered the same problem?
What should I do to make it work?

I made some changes on the Connection Preference.
By overriding default server information, I used two different server as follows:
messenger.hotmail.com
gateway.messenger.hotmail.com
both with port 1863 or port 80(with "Use HTTP Method" checked)

I found that there is no way to connect using port 1863.
Port 80 works fine if I set my status invisible.
If the status is set other than invisible, connection won't keep alive longer than one minute...
Still sticky...
