Resetting to defaluts

Hi,

SUSE 10.1, KDE3.5.
I just upgraded to SUES10.1 from 10, and wanted to try the translucency effects.
After turning the option on, and rebooting, KDE crashes on login.
I can log on as different user.
I managed to get error messages on the terminal, it seams kded crashes, and with it X.
I don't have time or that much will to have translucency, I just though it would be nice to see how it looks.
All I want is to get back to the default settings again, but I don't know how, since KDE can't start (so I can't go to the control centre).
Is there a way to reset KDE to default from the console?

Thanks in advance.

RE: Resetting to defaluts

Open following file: -

~/.kde/share/config

search for following: -

[Notification Messages]
UseTranslucency=true

and, change the above to following: -

[Notification Messages]
UseTranslucency=false

Hoping that works
