Equivalent of Hide-IP on Linux?

Is there a program that is Linux's equivalent of Hide IP for Windows?

I just need to know because I get paranoid that people know things...
They know...

Anyway, yeah. I need a program for KDE that gets me sites via proxy so those sites can not know my IP address.
