16:10 desktop resolutions with G965

I can't select all the resolutions into "Configure KDE Desktop" (I tried in Free Mandriva 2007, openSUSE 10.1) Ubuntu failed to start X.
I can only select 800x600, 1024x768 and 1280x1024 (only 5:4).

The screen is a 30" Wide LCD with 1280x768 real resolution ( the problem is that the TV reports 1280x1024 as max possible resolution so it scales down resolution ruining the text fonts )
My xorg.conf file has all the resolutions into the modelines section (including 16:9 and 16:10)

The graphic card is an Intel Integrated X3000 , from Intel G965 chipset.

I can change the card, but I would like to help developers to make it works out-of-the-box.

Thank You.
