[kopete] custom smilies patches

Hi everybody! After some time with amsn (which i long preferred over kopete because it was more complete, in terms of msn specific features, and because msn is the IM service most, if not all of my contacts use) I got back to my old, faithful kopete, now that it is almost as complete (talking strictly of msn, it has always been more complete than amsn globally!).

One thing I still miss from amsn is the capability to easily add my own custom smilies, and to save directly from the chat window others' smilies... I got Googling here and there, and found this page:

http://rockman.altervista.org/?p=patches.php

It's in Italian (which makes me quite proud, since I'm Italian too!), but contains two patches for kopete: the first one, "Selettore di emoticons" (which stands for "emoticons selector") is made to avoid the cutting of big emoticons in the selection window; the second one, "Importa emoticons" (guess? "import emoticons") allows to import custom smilies from other people by simply right-clicking on them and selecting the proper option.

I'm no programmer, and I'm not able to apply these patches by myself to try them, so I thought to post them here for you to try, if you wish. From what I could read, they work quite well, and if it is so, I think they should be submitted to the main kopete SVN tree (and I don't know how to do that either).

If there is any volounteer, let me know how the experiment goes (and, by the way, if someone can tell me how to apply those patches, I'd be grateful for that too... I searched on Google, but found nothing useful).

Bye!
