konqueror keyboard sometimes goes dead after CTRL-F in input field

I'm running Konqueror 3.5.2 on Ubuntu Dapper with SCIM running but not enabled, and use the sawfish window manager.

Sometimes when I'm editing a text field like on an HTML form, konqueror totally loses the ability to get input from the keyboard after CTRL-F in input field. It's like the keyboard just goes dead or freezes. It happened again as I typed this post. (I'm used to hitting CTRL-F to go forward character from emacs, needless to say, I just rebound "Find" to a new key).

The only way I've found to fix this is to restart Konqueror.
Is there any way to fix this behavior? Or is it a bug that should be reported?
Thanks.
