Installing new cervisia version on kde 3.3

I need to have the latest version of cervisia which is available in KDE 3.5, but I can´t update my KDE system here at work.
So is it possible to build this version with KDE 3.3? If not, is it possible to compile just the kdelibs for 3.5 and cervisia anf run it on top of 3.3?
That´s a serious problem IMHO that most KDE apps are bundled with the desktop environment. Not everyone can update KDE in order to access the latest software.

RE: Installing new cervisia version on kde 3.3

Yes, it's a policy (but not a 100% guarantee) that apps should be binary and source compatible with older kdelibs releases. However, I don't really know for this specific case if Cervisia meets these requirements, that's something you should try out. But it *should* be possible.
