oss 10.1: kde 3.5.4 no more available after updates

maybe the story first: using opensuse 10.1 with newest kde 3.5.4, Level "a". Everything was fine until yesterday, when a set of updates was installed by zen. Among them might have been kde updates, because i added the catalog ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/opensuse/repositor…USE_Linux_10.1/

when Booting later, i reach the level of login. After logging in comes an unusally console windows, telling something is wrong with the installation.

Analysis:
Went to virtual console 1 and gave init 3, then startx. That's the result:

Now my questions:
- what can or should i do in this situation?
- is there a cmd for repair kde respective will this recreate things like start_kdeinit?

help or new ideas are appreciated :-)

problme is start_kdeinit string

surfing around i found the solution now:

its really a bug, brought to you by update service :-(

the good part is, that you have to change only one line in file /opt/kde3/bin/startkde
