[KOPETE] I've no sound in Kopete

I'm using ALSA for my apps, but there's no sound in Kopete.

My Linux distro is Kubuntu Dapper 6.06 and my Kopete is 0.12.1 from Kubuntu repositories.

Can anybody help me?

RE: [KOPETE] I've no sound in Kopete

I had the same problem. I'm using SuSE 10.1. I discovered that the notification just weren't enabled.

Settings > Configure Notifications

Make sure events such as "An outgoing message has been sent" is enable to play a sound.

Yeah, they are enabled. Just no sound when I press "play", so I finally decided to put it as a command "ogg123 ...".

Also, the function of sound for incoming messages is buggy. I mean, even putting it as a command, when they send me a message the window blinks in the kicker, but no sound is played. "nudge" works though.
