[Kopete] problem with encoding in icq with ver 0.12.2

Hi,

since I changed to vesion 0.12.2 I have a problem with one buddyin icq using trillian. I once changed encoding to utf8 and changed it back because some characters were not displayed correctly. I can't really remeber which encodings I went through afterwards, but I think it was "big5" and "iso8859-1" maybe "iso8859-15", too. Anyways, after this changes my buddy can't see any message I write him but I can read his messages. I tried to change again and again to all kinds of encodings but it won't work. He tried to see it with the icq2go webservice, too and it didn't work. The funny part is that with other buddys (running on other clients not trillian) I did the same procedure and it didn't affect anything. Too, with other clients (like licq) and with kopete ver 0.11.3 it works, i.e my buddy can see the messages.

But after reinstalling ver. 0.12.2 it won't work again. I even tried to delete and readd the contact, but kopete seems to remember him which is good because I don't want to loose all the history of this contact.
Don't know what to change and don't have the time to make more tests with other clients/encodings, readding etc. .

Is there any way I can make kopete more verbose? Just to find out what happens when it sends the messages.

bye
