Kicker: 2 different panels

Hi, I added another kicker panel to the top of the screen, but I want it to have an entirely different look and behavior than the bottom panel, but changing settings in "Configure Panel" effect both panels together, not individually. So is there a way that I can change the settings for the panels seperately? Or is there another customizable panel that I can install?
