Desktop mouse selection style

Hi all,

I've noticed that it's possible in some way to modify the "style" of the rectangle produced when dragging the mouse on the desktop.

For example, in my Gentoo installation an empty rectangle with a dotted border shows the current selection, however in KUbuntu it is shown by a filled transparent blue rectange.

Where am I able to configure this?

System Settings -> Appearance -> Style -> Effects (tab) -> Check Enable GUI effects -> Set Rubberband effect to Make translucent.

(Kubuntu Breezy Badger)

Cheers.
