Curiosity Killed red Hat- restore defaults?? **FC5**

In an attempt to config Konqueror behaviour more to my own liking in "file management" mode -- actually -- trying to make an FTP mode of it (whether it's there by default, shamefully, i still do not know precisely)

using such Konquerer menus and features as
  • "Toolbar > View > xyz", select different views (harmless, i presume)
  • right-click file, properties, EDIT FILE TYPE (likely an ERR!)
  • Navigation Panel > Right Click > Add new > tweak blindly

eventually, i realized that the "Network" tab of the Navigation Panel has (by default) a behaviour (i think) which is what i'm looking for >> a way to store my popular FTP locations, and w/ "Network" tree-view-like browsing, I could easily find the Files i needed to either overwrite, or download for modification, or any of the common FTP functions one might use, accessible from a convenient "File Management" view type.

it was during this process that, uneducated of the global KDE impact, i tweaked some of those FILE TYPE settings

i tried, w/ FILE TYPE settings, to turn a Folder into a deskto.config file type thinking this would result in my desired Konqueror view for FTP as described above. (oops!)

anyone w/ a shred of common sense would know this was probably not a good idea-- but i didn't think at the time that this was actually going to affect the way KDE handled EVERY of these "Folder" types >> on the contrary, i thought it would affect only the Folder i had pulled into the "Network" tab of the Nav. Panel

So-- all that said, i'd just like to "RESET" my KDE configuration to defaul, if that's possible
(i think i also messed up the "system default" editor >> from "Embedded Advanced Text Editor" to QEdit... , so i'm hoping that a one-fell-swoop RESET of default KDE settings might be available somewhere in the config.)

all of this is did as one of the users, not SU Root of course
thanks for reading!!
