KDE Troubles

Ok i just installed KDE and i like it... its a bit quirky but i guess i gotta work it out... ohh and sorry if i posted this in the wrong place but i wasnt sure where it would go

First off whenever i get a warning Message in the bottom right corner of the screen (on top of the systray) i cant get rid of it.. no matter how many times i press hide or hide all it does absolutely nothing i usually have to logout out and relogin... i was wondering if there is a solution for this? i searched the forums and found nothing...

Second is there a good torrent program for this OS? ktorrent seems to stall always or it downloads very very slowly... i used to run torrentstorm and got way fasters speeds and it didnt stall... and azareus does not seem to run on my system everytime i run it it stalls..

thanks for any help!

RE: KDE Troubles

About the message window, it could be that another window has to be OK'ed first before you're able to close the one in the corner. That other window could possibily have popped up behind other windows or on a different virtual desktop.

What does the error say, actually? And can you tell to which application it belongs?

That's more probably Azareus' fault, not KDE's, so it's hard to help you with that. You can force applications to quit by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Esc and click the appropiate window.
