Wishlist: Suse Like K search menu

Hi!

Those who have used Suse might know what im talking about.. see pic. attached. I find that feature really useful especially if u're trying the tonnes of open source software currently available in repos.. What do u guys think?

P.s I'm not referring to Beagle search thingy; I don't really find a need for such a software if u organise ur stuff adequately..

I'm not sure, but I think there are plans to include such a feature in KDE 4. I'm not really sure though.

In the meantime, there might be two apps that might interest you:

Tasty Menu (inspired from Novell's menu, I think)

Katapult (inspired by Mac OS X's Quicksilver)

I personally use Katapult, because it can act as a simple calculator also.
