'send email' greyed out in reminders for korganizer

I am starting to use korganizer for my calendar since I can't get the calendar extension to work in Thunderbird anymore.

I would love to be able to email out my reminders for appointments and tasks, but that option is greyed out in korganizer.

I thought perhaps I need to setup kmail with an smtp, so I did that and a test email sent with kmail worked. (I'm not using kmail for my mail, however)

This might be a dependency issue since I'm on Ubuntu and needed to install kio-slaves to get my test email sent out via kmail.

Any ideas for what I can test or try?

It does seem to be coded yet

I spent ages trying to work out how to get this "ungreyed".

Then I came across this -

http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=131116

It seems that the function hasn't been implemented.

Why they don't either implement it or remove the option from the menu is anybody's guess.

Even the docs say it is a valid option.
