[Kopete] 0.12.x Chatlogs?

Hi there,

I'm wondering where I could find sorta logging ability for my chat sessions. I read somewhere about "the logging plugin", but where can I find this one? Do I have to build it when compiling it manually, or is it downloadable somewhere? And where can I activate it? I cannot find any context menu for plugins or something.

If it's interesting: I tested 2 or 3 .debs with my Ubuntu Dapper so far, maybe it also has something to do with the packages (I dont hope so).

"Settings" -> "Modules" -> Choose the module "History"

I don't know if the menu items' names are exactly as written above, but you should be able to find it.

there is no modules or something like that. i only got "accounts", "behaviour", "identity", "look and feel", "devices" (translated from german, maybe its translated different via i18n, but you should know what it stands for).

No, your in the wrong configuration dialogue. Take a look at the pictures I attached. You would have to choose the item "Einstellungen", then "Module einrichten" and finally check the box next to "Verlauf". I don't know how these are called in English, sorry.
