Problem with shortcuts...

Hi everyone, I've experienced some problems when installing svn...
I have a problem when clicking an icon in my desktop, KDE doesn't know which application is linked to manage that type of file, so I have to type it manually. I.e, if a click in a folder I have to type 'konqueror', and KDE doesn't even remember the application I've chosen for the future. Another problem, maybe related to this one, is that my Kmenu doesn't find any shortcut, so it's empty. I don't fully understand the science under .local and .kde folders, I've copied it from my other KDE installation, so it may be the source of problems. Anyway, I've tried removing them and reinstalling (make install) and nothing changes. Any idea? Thanks!
