Virtual desktops and TwinView

Current twinview setup : monitor 1 and 2 form one big desktop. Kicker, all icons and windows initally show on monitor 1. I can drag windows to monitor 2.

Desired setup : monitor 1 and monitor 2 each show a different virtual desktop in KDE.

Does anybody know if this desired is even possible at all? And if so, could you please point me to some documentation to cinfugre this.
