Cannot open with KPDF

Hi,

every time I try and open a file with KPDF by double clicking on the icon, it opens with KGhostView. I changed the associaion to open with KPDF instead, but as soon as I double click on the icon it opens it with KGhostView instead. I can view the PDFs in KPDF by entering it into the command line or if I download a file in FireFox, but double clicking refuses to use anything else.

I even tried changing the order of preference but KGhostView decided it still wants to go first!

Has anyone else encountered this issue? I installed both as part of the kdegraphics rpm

Thanks

Richard

RE: Cannot open with KPDF

Maybe you're confused with opening a file in an external application or embedding it inside Konqueror? Do both tabs in the file association dialog for PDF files have KPDF on top of their lists? Is the Left Click Action well set?

I've managed to fix it now. Since it kept on insisting on KGhostView being the first program to use I changed the command that it would run instead.

Thanks for the suggestion
