Help Needed : Change KDE Display Resolution

Hi

I have XFX Nvidia GeForce 6800 XT video card and I have open Suse 10. I have a Samsung 20" LCD (204B) with native resoultion of 1600 x 1200.

After installing NVIDIA drivers, the monitor display seem to be set at 1600 X 1200. I have attached the config files from /etc/X11 directory.

However in the KDE control center, the display option not show 1600x1200 as the option. The max resolution I can pick up the drop down in 1280x1024.

Can someone help me how to change. I would like to use the full feautre of the display card and the monitor.

Thanks
Vaidya

I had the exact same problem. In your xorg.conf change your horizontal sync range to 18-75 and vertical sync to 16-75 . Also you can add this line if you would like,it provides help in displaying a visible font size for your size of resolution.
Add this under the Section "Monitor"
DisplaySize 488 305 # 100 DPI @ 1600x1200
