[Kopete] Why do I don't see my (ICQ)contacts photos?

Hi there,

some of my buddys have made photos of them available with their ICQ-contacts. In Gaim, I see the photo next to their name in the list of contacts.

How do i do that in Kopete? I found an option in settings, but the photos still doesn't appear. If that's not possible, i have to go back to Gaim (but that's not really what i want...)

Using Kopete 0.12 beta2 I get photos for my contacts. What version are you on?

kubuntu offers a kopete 0.12+ package from today, but i still don't see the buddy icons of my icq contacts.

I don't see them immediately, I often see them appearing after some time.

it worked once (kubuntu 5 or 6, so in 2005 or 2006), but until today (using kubuntu) it is still broken.

i can't see avatars in icq.
