kvim, vim, kparts --- confused!

Hi!

I have installed from source kde 3.5.2 (konstruct meta/kde make install), and I am running it on debian sarge. I have vim 6.3-071+1sarge1 installed.

When searching google I see instructions on choosing vim as your editor in the Control Panel under KDE Components. But there is no Vim Component configuration section.

I also read about kvim being stopped, possibly part of vim, and possibly part of kparts.

Thoughts?

Dan

The integrated VIM component is removed in the KDE 3.5.x series. The information you're reading about configuring the VIM component is outdated.
