gnome applets

Is it possible to run a gnome applet on the KDE desktop?

KDE has always been my desktop of choice, but I always liked the gnome weather applet over the KDE weather applet. I like how gnome weather applet gives the weather forecast. Any information is appreciated. Thank you.
