[Kopete] Doesn't remember notification settings

Hello, I'm using gentoo with KDE 3.5.1. I've installed from source (really emerged with gentoo's package system) Kopete 0.11.1. It's really great but I'm having this problem. When I change the notification settings, and click Apply and/or OK, these settings aren't changed, even when doing it from the control panel. It happens only with kopete. I've tried the latest beta version and I have the same problem.
Anyone got a clue?
