Kbabel installation
I run Mandriva 2006 (free version). I would like to install Kbabel. When I went to the "official" Kbabel site and clicked on "Download", it says I probably have it already. But I can't find it!
I found a kbabel package at the Mandriva site, but there is a looong list of dependencies. I don't know where to start.
Has anyone run into the same problem? Any tips are appreciated!
Thank you.
RE: Kbabel installation
KBabel is part of the kdesdk package. Try to install that package instead.

I've looked for that too... Is it supposed to be on the iso-CDs?
Thank you
I downloaded and installed kdesdk 3.4.2. There are now tons of kbabel "stuff" (like icons and executables etc.), but no no "start executable". Does this mean I have to download another kbabel package?
Thank you.
Once installed you'll find a shortcut in K-Menu --> Development --> KBabel

That's where I thought it would be. But it's not!
I downloaded the package from
ftp://ftp.kde.org/pub/kde/stable/3.4.2/src/
The package is called kdesdk-3.4.2.tar.bz2.
I ran the configure script and from what I could see of what scrolled past on the screen, it worked.... Should I have done something else?
If there is any output I could post that would help, let me know.
Thanx for your time!
