Broken eject after upgrade

Since upgrade to 3.5.1 (from 3.4), the 'Eject' option in the Konqueror right-click menu on a CD/DVD does not work. I get an error dialog saying that I need root permission to 'umount'. I can eject using 'eject' in a console (non-root). But then, for some reason, the cd won't auto-mount after that. I have to manually do it (and as root now). This was not the case before the upgrade.

I've posted about this before but said that the actual eject button on the drive was now working. This seems to be the case only with DVD's, not mounted data CDs.

Can someone tell me where the configuration for Konqueror is that handles the behavior of 'Eject'?

Thanks.
The poopsmith's job is obvious.

RE: Broken eject after upgrade

I don't think this is a KDE related problem and that you have to look on a lower level. You could try a general Linux forum for this question.
