hide backup files

Where is the option to hide backup files in konqueror?

That would be a great option. I have backups for every file on my webpages and it's not very easy to find the right file with all the backups laying around.
But I found a solution. For example if I'm working with quanta there is an option under settings \ editor settings \ load&save (or something like that) where you can specify the part that goes before and after the backup so I put a . (dot) to be added before and leave Ø as the part that is added after and now my backup from index.php becomes .index.phpØ and that is hidden because of the dot.
