Usb mouse

ok, i'm pretty mutch a first time user of linux, im running suse 9.1 and I'm having a bit of a problem with my USB neXXtech optical mouse, it dosent do anything, suse din't detect it in the instalation, i tried setting it up as "usb mouse" option thing, still no luck, i was wondering if there is some driver or something that you can get to make my mouse work (note, if i use a normal ps2 mouse it works fine) thxs.
