kcm_useraccount configuration

I've got a gmail account which I haven't been able to configure in the kcontrol user account module.
To configure that account on kmail, I give the following parameters:
POP
Account name (a name)
User
password
host: pop.gmail.com
port: 995
-Use SSL for transfers
-Autenthication through plain text

SMTP
Account name
Host: smtp.gmail.com
Port 25
User: myname@gmail.com
Password
Cipher: TLS
Authentication method: plain

However, in this kcontrol module, I can't tell the system to use TLS.
How can I do configure this at this module?
Can this module just pick the info from one of kmail's identities?
