panel with different modes

Hi,

what if panel (kicker) could have different views with an easy way to choose one of them?
Each view would have it's own embeded applets, icons, whatever and properties.
For example while reading a pdf I could see only clock (with minimum panel length), while programming it would have kdevelop, kate, google search, konsole, umbrello, window list or other things, while making graphics it would contain gimp, color chooser, snapshot, gwenview etc..
