kdesu not working

I created a shortcut to

But I get the following error and also the dekstop freezees.

KDEInit could not launch "Kdesu"

but if I run

in konsole all works great.

Help would be greatly appreciated

ps. It's the same with KATE

Using UBUNTU 5.10 with KUBUNTU 3.5.1 package

Looks like a question better suited to Ubuntu (or Kubuntu) forums, really. I haven't tried to reproduce the problem though (have you tried? make a new user, try to create the link as described).
