Kontact/ KMail Formatting Problem

Hi, I am using Kontact/Kmain and I was blown away with its features and looks. But there are some issues that i cannot resolved.

1. When I tried to compose emails, put a colors on it... change fonts, when I hit enter for second paragraph, the format I change or colors change back to the default 1, which black only no colors. It happened when I copy some text from the web and put colors on it.

2. I replied a message something like this:
>1st paragraph..firstline
>1st paragraph..secondline
>1st paragraph..thirdline
>1st paragraph..fourthline
-my answer to the 1st

>2nd paragraph..firstline
>2nd paragraph..secondline
>2nd paragraph..thirdline
>2nd paragraph..fourtline
- my answer to the 2nd

but when I send it... it became double spaced. I attached a snapshot for your reference.
