[kopete] 2 seconds of 100% CPU activity during discussions

Hi everyone !

First, thanks a lot for the great work made by the team :)

However, I have one big issue with Kopete. It looks quite good and is very rich features wise. But... When chatting with other people, the window takes A LOT of time to refresh. For instance, I have an athlon XP 3200+ (Ubuntu 5.10, KDE 3.5), nvidia drivers ; and when I type something (maybe even more with some heavy themes but this is always more or less true), it can take several seconds to display, and I can see my CPU meter à 100% during this time !!!

I guess the XSLT themes may be a little heavy... But this much...

Any idea anyone ?

(this is also something I noticed in Amarok to a much much lesser extent)

Thanks for reading ;)

RE: [kopete] very slow chat mode ?

Well, I'm quite amazed noone seems to have noticed this issue ;) Am I the only one to experience around 2 seconds of 100% cpu activity using a 3 Ghz CPU when chatting while every other app seems to behave correctly ? :)
