unable to lock the screen

hello all,
i have problem in my KDE session..
i am unable to lock the screen...
it says
"will not lock the screen as unlocking would be impossible
no appropriate greeter plugin is configured"

what should i do....plz somebody help me....

I had the same problem. I went through my kde applications and installed kdelibs3-33addons. logged out then back in and my lock screen works.

and i tried to install that kdelibs3-3.4.2-24.3.i586.rpm, kdelibs3-3.3.0-34.9.i586.rpm
i use NLD9.2 but i got this following dependency error, seems i need to install some more packages what is all about?

I'm using NLD 9.0. Looks like you tried to download the rpm off the net. You should be able to use Yast ,Software, Install and remove software and search for KDE. Filter through the result near the bottom the addon is listed. I hate resolving dependencies.

yah i downloaded the package and try to install it..
ofcurse i tried what u said, gone to yast => software => Install and remove Software -> search "Kde" and found kdelibs3-33addones
it is set "keep" as option and so i maek it "Update" and accepted it
it ask for NLD cd1 , so in the path textbox i have given the path where i have downloaded the package but still it says media not found....

am i doing correct....

i just kept as it is i mean "keep" option and accept it and it does not make difference
