change menubar?

hi, I can't apply changes to the KDE Menu. however, I can add items by installing programmes but I want to delete items. whatever I change in the system settings/panel/menu, nothing happens to the actual menu.

when I restart the control centre (system settings) it's all back like before.

somewhat frustratig, ya bet. but I can't imagine how I'm the only one w/ that prob (couldn't find anything...)

thanks in advance

RE: change menubar?

right click the K-Menu, and click on "Menu Editor"

or System Settings -> Panel -> Panels -> Menus -> Edit KMenu

Make sure you click "Save" after making the changes, or else they wont occur.

hope this helps!

that's just what I did several times. However, I never fixed it, but I installed a new version of Kubuntu.
