I just copied the Mail folder before reformating my HD .. hmm

Hi there,
I've just reinstalled linux (switched distributions) - to keep all my emails, I simply backed-up the folder Mail, funny thing now: the new KMail installation will read and display the mails in my inbox, but when I click on one - it changes to 'no subject' and sender is 'unknown' ... any suggestions as to why this is happening and what I can do to fix it?

Kind regards
Soren - Denmark

problem solved ...

sorry to have been so quick on the draw - it seems it was a simple permissions problem ... changing it to a+w fixed it for me...

Kind regards
