dear all,

I try to copy (just Copy) a Suse Linux 10.0 DVD on my configuration.

Configuration: Mandriva 2006, , K3B 0.12.4-svn, KDE 3.4.2.

I encounter 2 problems:


1. A file protection settings issue:
From my normally used user account I in the "Copy DVD" dialog box the DVD-burner is not shown, while logged in as root it works. What I see in the K3B-Setup dialog is:

Normal user name: hans. So I think somewhere went (or I did) something wrong).

Can anybody tell me how to change it to what and where?

2. Another configuration issue (I think: under WXP, - same machine other partition - with nero everything works fine, so hardware OK)
Using the root account everything seems to work: Enter the Suse DVD in the reader, a blank DVD+R in the writer, K3B: choose Copy DVD and option "on the fly" (speed setting: automatic). Burning starts, but end in a writing error..

Anybody a suggesetion, what to change (an Option, a Configuration-file?) here is the error-log, obtained from K3B:
