kde 3.5 print problem

kde 3.5 print problem

I've got a problem in printing form any kde programm
I always get nothing.
When printing to ps file and viewing the file with kghostview the ps files are empty.
kghostview can view other ps files and I've tried espgs 8.15.1 and 7.07.1
printing the test page works without any problems and printing from firefox or openoffice too.

Seems to me that the error is somewhere from kde-content to ps file

Is there anything else except ghostview required for kde printing at version 3.5 of kde?
I ask because I use LFS cvs and LFS does not contain any additional packages if kde 3.5 does require anything I'd have to install it by myself

i've tried to print to pdf and get the following error:

but i think this is related to the empty document
