Display Screen Size Problem

I'm running SuSe 10 and have a problem setting the desktop screen size settings. I'm trying to set the screen size to 1024x768 to match my physical screen size, however the Screen_Size pull down menu on Configure_Desktop->Display->Size&Orientation does not contain this value. The only choices are: 2048x768, 1600x600, 1536x576,1280x480. The setting was fine prior to my enabling multiple monitors. I've disable multiple monitors yet the available selections still do not contain 1024x768 (which was the origonal value).

Any thoughts / help would be greatly appreciated.

Dennis

RE: Display Screen Size Problem

I did a cold boot and when the system came back up the selctable options were "normal", including 1024x768. The system is now fine, though I do not know why.
