Konquorer Configure

I am a newbie so please be patient. When I go to open the "system menu/home folder" I get a starting point of "system:/Home" in Konquorer Files. :rolleyes: In the past I thought I got Home.Dick/ which could be backed down to the root folders such as usr or bin or doc. Am I mistaken or did I do something wrong and chage settings. I am using kde 3.5 with kubuntu.

RE: Konquorer Configure

You can edit the program which is executed when you click on that menu item. Therefor, you can open the menu editor (kmenuedit) and go to the entry you want to change. If you found it, you correct the command. It should be something like konqueror /home/reb68, if you are unsure, you can find out what you homedir is by entering

Source code

1
cd ~ && pwd
in the konsole.

Another possiblitity to get in your home dir is entering "~" in the location bar of Konqueror.
