KDE 3.4 installation in VMware

I've been installing KDE 3.4 on my FreeBSD 6 installation for over 15 hours now, and I'm beginning to suspect this is taking longer than normal.

FreeBSD 32bit is installed in a VMware virtual machine on my system which is 64bit, but Vmware is unable to run 64bit hosts yet. Anyhow, I thought this might be probable slowdown factor.. but still.

My actual pc is a 64bit 3.0Ghz with 1gb mem system. Is it normal for KDE to take that long to compile with these specs?
